As you know, last month we said farewell to Natalie. Although she will be greatly missed here in the office, we are delighted to welcome Ann Marie Baker as our new full time Marketing Specialist! Ann Marie is a recent graduate from the University of Alabama and is excited to take over. 

To celebrate Craft Beer Week, we thought that we would post some of our favorite names for craft beers. But before we do that, lets take a look at how the industry has grown since our last post on beer names in 2015 (Where have all the good craft beer names gone?). According to the Brewers’ Association, as of 2021, there are 9,124 brew pubs, tap rooms, microbreweries and regional breweries in the United States. That is more than double the number (4,225) in 2015.

Summertime is right around the corner, so it's a perfect time to finish up that late spring cleaning and clear out your gutters! Below is a step-by-step guide to making the dirty task as quick and efficient as possible. Just in time for some summer showers!

1. Get a sturdy extendable ladder as well as a bucket to help you reach the top of the gutters with minimal strain and keep messes to a minimum.
2. Remove large debris, such as branches and leaves, by hand. For the smaller scraps, use a small trowel or gutter scoop and dump them in your bucket. Remember to use thick gloves to prevent injury!
3. Remove the downspout strainers and clean and rinse with a hose until they're as good as new!
4. Use a hose with a spray attachment to wash any remaining dirt and filth and flush until clean.
5. If you find there is a clog present, place your hose up the downspout on full pressure to release them.
6. Finally, check for any leaks, replace your downspout strainers, and you're finished!

How to Clean Gutters

Myriad Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in the heart of downtown Evansville, with a second location opening in Newburgh shortly! If you are looking for some fun for the whole family, their upcoming location in Newburgh will be family friendly, with all ages able to sit indoor or outdoor. Dogs are welcome too, as long as they are friendly and leashed of course.

 

If you're unable to sit in and enjoy a drink, Myriad offers several carryout options, such as filling a growler (64oz.) or a bullet (32oz) with your favorite Myriad beer OR grab a 4-pack of cans available in the to-go fridge.
