Born and raised on a small farm in Texas, I always had a strong sense of adventure and curiosity. That alone is what led me to go to college out-of-state, and start a life of my own, where I didn’t know anyone until I got there. At the University of Alabama, I became a member of the sorority Pi Beta Phi, rescued a Belgian Malinois named Lola (who I now have with me here in Indiana), made lots of friends, and got my degree in Public Relations and Computer Science. With this degree, I simultaneously felt challenged yet rewarded. I had felt as though I was setup with the right tools and skillset to be able to solve problems and communicate efficiently in the workplace, wherever that may be. And that brings us full circle back to Evansville, upon graduation I found this job, where I didn’t know anyone, I knew it was going to be an amazing opportunity for me to apply my newfound skill set, and truly flourish like I did when I moved to Alabama. I find great joy working here as the Marketing Specialist at Martin IP Law Group, every day I feel challenged yet valued, and I love connecting us to our local community each and every day.
